Our Terms & Rules

Please read the vehicle usage rules carefully before pickup. By taking the vehicle, you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms.

1. 01

   RETURN OF VEHICLE IN ORIGINAL CONDITION

   The vehicle must be returned in the same condition as received - clean, undamaged, and without new scratches or damage. Any damage incurred during the rental period is the responsibility of the renter.

2. 02

   RETURN WITH FULL FUEL TANK

   The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with a full tank. If the vehicle is returned with less fuel, the difference will be charged at the current market price, plus an administrative fee.

3. 03

   Pricing Based on Trip Type and Distance

   The base rental price applies to standard local and regional use of the vehicle. For longer trips and higher mileage - such as travel to the seaside, ski resorts, or destinations outside the region - Royal Rent-a-car reserves the right to apply a higher rate. This is due to increased vehicle wear, higher risk, and greater maintenance costs associated with long-distance travel. The exact price for longer trips is agreed upon in advance at the time of booking.

4. 04

   NO BORDER CROSSING WITHOUT APPROVAL

   The vehicle may not be taken outside the borders of Bosnia and Herzegovina without prior written agreement included in the rental contract. Unauthorized crossing of state borders constitutes a breach of contract and may result in immediate termination of the rental and full financial liability.

5. 05

   AUTHORIZED DRIVERS ONLY

   Only the person listed in the rental agreement and holding a valid driver's license may operate the vehicle. Operating the vehicle by a third party without prior authorization is prohibited.

6. 06

   NO SMOKING AND PET POLICY

   Smoking in the vehicle is strictly prohibited. Pets are allowed only with prior consent from Royal Rent-a-car. In case of violation, a cleaning fee will be charged.

7. 07

   TRAFFIC FINES AND VIOLATIONS

   All traffic fines, violations, and related costs incurred during the rental period are the sole responsibility of the renter. Royal Rent-a-car bears no responsibility for violations committed during the rental period.

8. 08

   REPORTING ACCIDENTS AND BREAKDOWNS

   In the event of a traffic accident, breakdown, or any incident, the renter is obligated to immediately contact Royal Rent-a-car at +387 66 452 830. Self-repair without authorization is not permitted.

To ensure a pleasant stay for all guests, please observe the following rules.

1. 01

   CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT

   Check-in is from 2:00 PM. Check-out must be completed by 11:00 AM. Late check-out is possible only with prior notice and approval, and may incur an additional charge.

2. 02

   NOISE AND QUIET HOURS

   Guests are requested to observe quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Loud music, parties, or noise disturbing other residents or neighbors is not permitted at any time.

3. 03

   SMOKING

   Smoking inside the apartment is strictly prohibited. Smoking is permitted only on balconies or outdoor areas designated for that purpose. A cleaning and deodorizing fee will be charged in case of violation.

4. 04

   PETS

   Pets are not allowed in the apartments without prior consent. If you wish to bring a pet, please contact us at the time of booking.

5. 05

   CLEANLINESS AND PROPERTY

   Guests are responsible for keeping the apartment clean during their stay and are required to leave it in a tidy condition upon departure. Any damage to inventory or apartment equipment will be charged at actual replacement value.

6. 06

   NUMBER OF GUESTS

   Only the number of guests stated at the time of booking may stay in the apartment. Accommodating additional guests overnight without prior notice and additional payment is not permitted.

7. 07

   KEYS AND ACCESS

   The guest receives the keys at check-in and must return them at check-out. Lost keys will be charged at the actual cost of lock and key replacement.
